No, you do not have to. The room rate is the same for menbers and non-members.

Yes, we encourages individual travellers to meet and befriend others and
share their experiences.

Yes, our full capacity is 170 guests.
How far in advance can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation 3 months in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
We do not require a cancellation charge. Please tell us about your cancellation
as soon as possible.

Yes, we have parking lots for 26 cars in our site. Parking is free.

Yes, we have a bath in our hostel.

There are shampoo, conditioner and body soap in the bath and shower rooms.
Do you provide towels and bathrobes in guest rooms?
No, we do not provide towels and bathrobes, We have towels and bathrobes
for rent. (face towel, bath towel 100 yen each / bathrobe 200 yen) We have
toothbrushes and razors for sale. (toothbrush 50 yen / razor 100yen)
Can I just use the bath without staying?
No, we offer use of the bath only for guests.
Can I just have supper or breakfast without staying?
No, we offer supper and breakfast only for guests.
Can I do my own cooking?
Yes, we provide self-catering facilities.
Can I bring alcohol to your hostel?
Yes, you can bring your own beverages. We offer alcohol in the dining room
and we have alcohol vending machinea as well.
Do you have a smoking area?
Yes, we have a smoking area at the terrace.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, but we do not allow pets at our hostel. However, please call or
e-mail us to check the policy on guide dogs.
Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
Yes, we do have wheellchair accesible rooms.
Can I send luggage in advance?
Yes, please make sure to put your check-in date and your full name on a
delivery sheet. We keep it at the front desk.
Can I send my luggage from your hostel?
Yes, we offer home delivery service and courier service (luggage pick-up
and drop-off at Kyoto Sta., Utano YH and next accomodation 750 yen/ 1 pack)
